My name is Paloma Velez and I have been working at Smith for the past seven years as an ECE-3 educator. I was born in Lima-Peru and have called Denver "my home" for over 30 years now. I am passionate about Early Childhood Education-working shoulder to shoulder with my little scholars and their families to have the best start in their educational journey. I have two daughters, Luna (6th grade) and Mia (3rd grade here at Smith) and a one year-old Pomeranian, Tiago.I love reading, dancing and traveling to new places.
