Lauren is originally from New York, having started her career as a Speech-Language Pathologist at a hospital in Brooklyn. She has since moved to Denver and been working at Smith since she started working at DPS. She is bilingual, servicing students in English and Spanish. She is passionate about equity in education. She enjoys reading, exercising and trying new experiences/places on the weekends.
