Hello!
My name is Rocio Zarate-Avalos and this will be my 9th year as a teacher. I am the ELA-S Literacy interventionist at Smith this year. My task consists of working with students in 1st-5th grades and helping them become better readers. Outside of school I enjoy spending time with my 1 year old daughter Luna as well as cooking and reading. I am really looking forward to this school year and to learning together with all students!
